Play with your nibbles

This month I am inviting you to play with your food. Yep that’s right, most of you between  age 2-15 ( and beyond) were told to stop playing with your food, I am asking to bring that element of play back to the meal time, the shopping time, the preparation time. This may give you more awareness with you rbody and  allow you to find out what it desires and requires.

Let me ask you some questions about food.

How many fixed points of view do you have about food? Here are some answers that people have given…

  • Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
  • Three square meals a day.
  • A little on the lips, a life time on the hips.
  • Sugar is bad for you.
  • Everything in moderation.
  • You are what you eat.

The list is endless. Every person on the planet has their own point of view about food. One of my points of view was that organic food was the only way to heal myself. With a point of view like that it stopped me from receiving any alternative and it stopped me from receiving awareness from my body. Please don’t take what I have just said and think that I am against organics, or diets or points of view about food. I ask these questions so that you can become aware of what your point of view about food  is and then may be you will have an awareness of which points of view are limiting your reality. What if some of them are stopping you from having fun or limiting your awareness of your body?

The thing that made such a huge change with my body was to involve it in the choice of food. After all who takes the food you eat and digests it? You the being or your body?

My point of view about food now is a question, is this food going to be orgasmic? What do I mean by that? Is it going to be yum, and fun, and nurturing to my body? I don’t eat it unless it is. And when it stops tasting like that, it is time to stop eating.

So,what is your point of view about food? And is it even your point of view or did you hear it from some one else? How many points of view about food do have that actually validate other peoples realities?

To empower you and your body I have a short ebook on the subject of food.

What else is possible with food?

Right Weight for YOU

What is the right weight for you? What if you did not have to compare your body with other body’s? What if you could be happy with the way your body is in any 10 seconds?

What if weight was a point of view and that you could change that point of view with ease?

Here are a few tips:

Did you know that your judgment creates your body? When your body hears your litany of judgement about how heavy you are that is what it creates. Every time you get on the scales you judge your body. Every time you measure yourself you judge your body as how right or wrong it is.

Did you know muscle is heavier than fat? If you are working out and creating muscle you need to be aware of this as it could appear you are putting weight back on. If you go to that conclusion your body will hear that and start to create that.

Gauge the amount of weight chang as to how your clothes are fitting and acknowledge the change with gratitude and if they get tighter ask what else is possible?…

Food, food, glorious food

Food choices can be very confusing. There are as many diets out there as there are days in the year. Each one of them claiming to have the answer. What if it did not need to be confusing? What if you did not have to make your body the testing ground for somebody else’s diet?

I am not selling you a diet here, I am empowering you to know what your body requires! You have a huge resource with you there right now… it is sitting there with you whilst you read this blog. It is called your body. Just in case you have forgotten your beautiful body  i would like to re-introduce you to it. Being say hello to your body.

Who beats your heart, breathes, moves you from one place to another , digest your food, heals? You or your body? Your body. So when it comes to a diet or the food your body requires who is going to know best? You, your therapist, your fitness trainer or your body?

I am not saying go against your trainer, your therapist, your doctor… Far from it, they all provide you valuable information, but if you make them greater than you and your body then you have just limited your choice.

What if you were to include your body in the choices you are making for it with food? Would you get a different result?

If you are curious you can read more in my ebook: The Four Major Food Groups; it has tools to empower you to choose the food that YOUR body requires.
